What is Bug Buster II?
Bug Buster II is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide based on the agricultural insecticide, Asana (esfenvalerate). It is fast-acting, gives excellent control of insects, and has residual activity.
What insects does Bug Buster II control?
Bug Buster II controls caterpillars, flea beetles, grasshoppers, lygus, leaf-hoppers, psyllids, stink bugs, whiteflies, ants, cockroaches, centipedes, crickets, sowbugs, spiders & all worms. There are over 100 insects listed on the label.
What about Spiders?
Yes! Bug Buster II does an excellent job on all spiders, from daddy longlegs to black widows. You may have tried other products and gotten disappointing results, but Bug Buster II really works.
How do I use Bug Buster II?
Mix at 1 oz per gallon of water and apply to 500 sq ft of surface area. In outdoor situations for use on structural surfaces (such as windows, doors and eaves) apply as a crack, crevice, or spot treatment only. Apply as soon as the insects are seen. On plant foliage, apply to the upper and lower leaf surface until dripping. Wait at least 7 days between applications.
Can I use Bug Buster II inside the buildings?
No, Bug Buster II is not labeled for indoor use.
Does Bug Buster II smell or stain?
No.
Can I use Bug Buster II in my vegetable garden?
Yes. It can be used on artichokes, cole crops, carrots, cucurbits, beans, eggplant, peas, peppers, potatoes, radishes, sweet corn, tomatoes and others to control worms and other insects. Mix 1 oz per gallon of water and apply when insects appear. Repeat as needed.
What about on fruit and nut trees?
It can be used on stone fruits, apples, pears, almonds, filberts, pecans, walnuts, cane berries and blueberries.
What about bees?
Bug Buster II will harm bees. Try to time your application when they are not present.
How close to harvest can I use Bug Buster II?
Depending on the crop, it can be applied 1-28 days prior to harvest. Consult the label for specific instruction.
