What is Monterey Magnify? +
It is an activator/penetrant surfactant formulated with ammonium salts, non-ionic surfactants and anti-foaming agents. It enhances the biological activity of herbicides by increasing the leaf-surface penetration, increasing the speed and effectiveness of control. It is used with glyphosate and most other general herbicides.
What herbicides can I use Monterey Magnify with? +
It is commonly used with glyphosate-containing products, sulfonyl urea herbicides, and other herbicides that specify ammonium sulfate/nitrate and/or surfactant additives on their labels. ⚠️ Note: Not for aquatic use in Washington. Always follow the most restrictive label directions when tank mixing.
How do I mix Monterey Magnify? +
1. Shake well before using. 2. Fill the spray tank halfway with water and begin agitation. 3. Add the recommended amount of Monterey Magnify. 4. Add pesticides in the following sequence while continuing to fill the tank: Dry flowables or water-dispersible granules Wettable powders Flowables Solutions Emulsifiable concentrates 5. Continue agitation until the spray solution is fully mixed. If the spray sits for a while, agitate before applying.
How much should I use? +
For backpack or handheld sprayers: use ⅓ to 1¼ fl. oz. per gallon of finished spray solution. Do not exceed 5% of the total spray volume unless directed by the pesticide label.
Is Monterey Magnify compatible with all pesticides? +
It is generally compatible with most pesticides. If you haven’t used a particular combination before, perform a compatibility test before mixing large quantities.
